LUKA

Two project modules were merged to create a joint exhibition. We focused on the theme of “Discomfort,” drawing inspiration from the large intestine.
As part of this collaboration, we created both an installation and a creature.
For this project, I designed the costume, inspired by Anne’s installation in which she filled tights with cotton. It was important to me that the costume appeared uncomfortable and unsettling — like a being from another world.
We named the character Luka - a gender-neutral yet very common name, highlighting the creature’s desire to be ordinary, despite its strange and otherworldly appearance. This tension became a central point in the discussion around the character's identity and presence.
