HYDRANGEA MAGAZINE

For my photography course, where we had the freedom to pursue any project we wanted, I chose to develop a fashion magazine centered around the colors green and pink. Most of the pieces featured were from my own wardrobe, but I also invited my models and friends to bring their green and pink garments. I styled and scouted all the models myself.
From a photographic standpoint, it was important to me that the models felt confident and free to express themselves naturally. The images aim to capture natural beauty, bravery, and the interplay of the colors pink and green.
In the magazine, I focused on layout, emphasizing color and interesting compositions. The magazine intends to inspire readers to reuse or share clothing rather than buying fast fashion.
The title, Hydrangea, is inspired by the hydrangea flower, which naturally grows in shades of green and pink—an ideal reflection of the magazine’s concept. The magazine is still a work in progress; I plan to digitalize it, print it, and potentially sell the photographs, clothes, or zines.
