For this assignment, we were asked to create a short documentary on the theme: What’s your dream?
We decided to focus on someone who is culturally active in Basel, and thought of the small, charming café called Jêle.
Jêle is a place where you can sit down, enjoy a coffee, and sometimes a person will approach you and start a deep, philosophical conversation. We became curious about this person - the owner - his dream, his motivation, and what this café truly means to him.
In our video, we aimed to capture the small, quiet beauty of the space - its openness and heartfelt atmosphere. We wanted to reflect the love and dedication he brings to his work, and how that spirit shapes the unique environment he has created.
