ZUHAUSE
The photos were taken in my apartment, the models were styled by me, and the spatial installations were independently conceived. The project emerged during my gap year, a time when I no longer had access to the same equipment I used to. This raised the central question: How much can I create with what I have?
It was an experimental project, marked by gratitude and improvisation. I worked with my first camera, which I had bought at the age of twelve. Clothing, makeup, and props came from my personal everyday life. Everything beyond that was organized directly in collaboration with the models.
Many of the models were strangers to me before. I invited them into my home which then also developed into a social experiment that showed me how important trust and openness are in photographic work. Within the intimacy of my own four walls, 18 photoshoots took place with different series, each with its own story, yet connected by the personal space in which they happened.
